Hello, my name is Terry, a graphic designer based in Sydney. I am a self-taught designer a qualified Americas Cup boat builder, African Safari Tour Director and a Landscaper with an unhealthy enthusiasm for winning Australia’s greatest invention: the meat raffle.

An unfortunate accident yet blessing, led me to become a designer. I used work as a boat builder for The Americas Cup. One day, I fell down a set of stairs, smashed through two windows, and ended up with a broken neck after falling two meters straight onto my head.
Due to this I was unable to work for six months. Initially, it was all about sleeping in, stuffing my face with food and watching dramatic paternity reveals on The Ricky Lake Show. It was fun for a while, but it got old real quick.
I’d always had a eye for creativity, but I never acted on it. So, while I was having to wear a ridiculous-looking neck brace and not wanting to be seen in public, I thought I would take the opportunity to learn how to use a computer for the first time. This led to me teaching myself photoshop and then design.
When I’m not designing, I’m busy enjoying life as a champion meat raffle winner, an African safari tour director, and a practising artist (or at least trying). I’ve exhibited my work mainly in Australia, with the occasional international showing. I also own a smart hydroponic/aeroponic garden company called Eco Apartment Gardens, as well as an awkward gift card company. At the moment, I’m developing a balcony bar product for apartments and working on monetising a website for meat raffles. View my LinkedIn here.
