I created this piece for an international design competition where the brief was optimism. Selected as a finalist from over 1,700 entries across 70+ countries, my concept resonated globally. I aimed to create something unique, playful, and deeply connected to popular culture worldwide. The soy sauce bottle became the perfect modern vessel—instantly recognisable and universally relatable—bringing the classic question, ‘Is the glass half full?’ into a contemporary context. This work has been exhibited internationally and featured in multiple books, magazines, newspapers, and online publications.
